Untittle dribble no. 3 (Hetalia: Sealand and the Nordics)

One day, Sealand asks Sweden,

"Where is Finland?"

And Sweden answers, "Home."

"But I can't find him anywhere," and that, sad as it might be, is when Sweden realizes just how much time Finland and he actually spend together.

"No," he says as he turns to the boy to explain, "his own home."

"Finland has his own home?"

Sweden nods.

"Oh," says Sealand, sounding, perhaps, more impressed than he should.

There are so many things in this world that children, in due time, must learn about. So when Sealand one day tells Finland,

"Norway slept in your room the other day. And he let Hana-Tamago onto the bed,"

Finland only answers, "Well, Norway is used to sleeping a bit less... nicely, than we do. That doesn't mean we should follow his example."

"I think it would be nice to sleep with a dog. Do you not like Denmark or something?"

"Of course not," says Finland, "why would I have anything against Denmark?"

"I mean, since he has to sleep in Papa's bed even when you're not here," says Sealand, and that is when Finland realizes that oh, of course Su-san wouldn't have said anything to the boy. But isn't this is the kind of thing he should know about? True, he might not be in any acute danger of anything like that happening, but he clearly knew his way around the internet.

Finland lives next door to Estonia, but longer than that, he had lived in the same house as Sweden. So of course, if there are anyone who would know about Sweden's aversion to actually saying things outright -

"I see how it would be a problem," Norway admits, grudgingly, after Finland has wheedled for eight minutes, "but what I'm not getting is why you can't do it yourself."

"You have more experiences."

"No I don't."

"Please."

"Don't you have internet access?"

"Exactly."

"That's not how I meant it."

"It's not like I want to do this any more than you do."

"You're better with dealing with these kinds of things. And do you really want Denmark to - "

"Isn't that the question YOU should be asking yourself?"

It is another ten minutes gone when Finland hangs up, not at all sure what exactly it is he has accomplished.

It is after some long and due consideration that Sweden sits the boy down for a talk. There is a certain decorum for situation such as these, so he tells Denmark - three times, and then asks Denmark to repeat it - that he is the one who will do the talking as they sit next to each other across from Sealand, who has paused the video game with Mario mid-air.

Sweden has never entirely stopped feeling surprised at how easily he can talk to his adopted son, but it really is some kind of record when, after a minute of pragmatic introduction, Sealand interrupts to ask:

"Is this about sex? Because Norway already told me about that."
