Eiri had never considered Shindou one to hold grudges. He was too light-hearted, too forgetful and naive - and he usually found something else to be mad about soon enough. There were times when Eiri was just the tiniest bit unnerved by thinking about the amount of time the two of them spent in hostility.

The last fight had not been overly vicious, all things considered, but insulting Shuichi's mother had obviously not been the right thing to do. He knew that it couldn't actually be Mizuki's pained screams he was hearing halfway across town, but in his current state of numb disbelief he could easily have believed it. He stared blankly at the television set that SOMEBODY had left on before leaving the house, broadcasting a live interview with Bad Luck. The cameras where closing up on the ridiculously over-hyped pop star that happened to spend most of the nights in Eiri's bed, smiling peacefully as he confirmed his previous statement.

He would have to convince Tohma not to have Shindou "dealt with", he knew, and he wasn't going to have a minute of peace from the media fro the next six months. Vaguely, he could make out his own reflection on the screen, and realized that his left hand was gripping his hair.
Shuichi was still smiling as though he had not just risked his life and carrier on petty revenge. Eiri just KNEW that somewhere in his contract there was a clausal forbidding any member of Bad Luck to mention his name to the press.

But Shuichi, undoubtedly one hundred percent conscious about what he was doing, merely nodded his head and smiled even broader at the flabbergasted host.

"It's true. He dyes."

Written because of an essay that pointed out that within the Japanese understanding of "blond hair", Yuki's might well be what in English would be considered "light brown".
